“Undoubtedly the finest party djs this side of Mars and our Bestival after-party DJs of choice.”
Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1 DJ & Co-Organiser of Camp Bestival)
From the casino rooftops of Vegas to Armani’s yacht in Monte Carlo, the Don-Daddas of DJ Duo-dom, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader have come a long, long way from their humble beginnings in a bedsit in South London, to being amongst the UK’s most critically, media and industry acclaimed Artists, DJ/Producers and Radio Broadcasters.
Following remixes of Lady Gaga and Beyonce's Telephone and Brandon Flowers’ Crossfire hit no.1 on the HypeM Twitter charts, Rihanna loved the Cannons' carnival vibes mix of her track Rude Boy so much, she asked the boys to re-lick her next Rockstar 101 single- for a full release on Def Jam. And all this while putting out the first release on their new label, Govt Records, and still finding time to write and record some Rocket-Pop smashes with hot new UK girl band Vanquish to launch at the end of the year. This summer, the Cannons hit top 3 in the Buzz Charts (and top 10 Cool Cuts) with their remix of the Ray Charles classic, Hit the Road Jack, out on Ego... Their Tiger Blood ep featuring a sexytech’d up Charlie Sheen and the Youtube sensation, Charlie Bit Me is out on Champion Records….And their new Victorian Horror Rock ‘n Roll band album project has just signed to MTV through Hype Music in the US and rocked the main stage at their fav UK festival, Secret Garden Party.
On the homefront, The Loose Cannons are about to start a new radio show for the re-launch of the UK’s biggest House music station - SelectUK.com, so they can play more of what they want, how they want, for proper music fans. Back to the underground… Tune in from Sept for all that’s good and fresh in the Cannons’ box of Bump-House and TechDirt.
